Position Overview

Nextrux Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintaining and repairing heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect heavy equipment to identify faults and malfunctions.
  • Utilize computerized and other diagnostic tools to assess the extent of repairs needed.
  • Adjust machinery and replace defective components as necessary.
  • Conduct performance tests on repaired equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication of machinery.
  • Execute repair tasks on heavy trucks and verify emission control systems.
  • Carry out other regular maintenance duties as required.
Work Environment
  • Attention to detail is crucial.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods is necessary.
