Position Overview: Vantix Systems Inc is in search of an experienced Intermediate Business Analyst who will be responsible for converting business requirements into precise technical specifications and solutions.

Work Environment: This role is primarily remote; however, the selected candidate must be available for in-person meetings as necessary. Due to network and data security protocols, work must be conducted from within Alberta, Canada during standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements within an enterprise setting (minimum 8 years of experience required).
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft strategic business and technical documentation (minimum 5 years of experience required).
  • Facilitate and oversee business process development and re-engineering workshops (minimum 5 years of experience required).
  • Gather requirements from a diverse range of stakeholders across various departments (minimum 5 years of experience required).
  • Develop integrated system and technical design specifications for complex projects (minimum 3 years of experience required).
  • Lead frequent face-to-face meetings with clients and technical teams as needed.
  • Must operate from within Alberta, Canada, adhering to network and data security protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in creating project documentation for various initiatives, including strategic and business improvement projects.
  • Proven ability to facilitate meetings and communicate effectively with senior management and project stakeholders (minimum 5 years of experience required).
  • Background in designing, developing, and implementing complex IT solutions (minimum 5 years of experience required).
  • Experience with content management, document management, and information management processes in applications (minimum 5 years of experience required).
  • Familiarity with IT service management and related applications (minimum 4 years of experience required).
  • Experience working in an agile development environment (minimum 4 years of experience required).
  • Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing processes in large, complex, multi-stakeholder environments (minimum 4 years of experience required).
