About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Cheese Curds and Habaneros. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our cafeteria and restaurant services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing management with key information and insights to inform decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: Hot work site environment.
  • Work Setting: Cafeteria and restaurant settings.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physically demanding work.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, and team player.
