Pharmacy Clerk Job Description

At destinationone Consulting, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Clerk to join our team. As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team by handling administrative tasks, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process prescription orders and over-the-counter medications in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure timely ordering and restocking of products.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and directing inquiries to pharmacists as needed.
  • Handle cash register transactions and process payments efficiently.
  • Ensure the pharmacy area is clean and organized, adhering to safety and health regulations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in pharmacy practices preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication.
