Job Title: Pharmacy Technical Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at MyHealthCare Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy staff in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products with precision and accuracy.
  • Assist with scheduling and workflow to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies to meet the needs of our pharmacy.
  • Reassemble equipment and assemble packs of sterile supplies and instruments for delivery to hospital departments.
  • Process claims, including health insurance and workers' compensation, with attention to detail.
  • Collect and analyze statistics to inform our pharmacy's operations.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including reception, telephone, and appointment scheduling.
  • Prepare and maintain the cleanliness of collection areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage routine office functions, including ordering supplies and equipment.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations.
  • Assist healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
Work Environment:

Our pharmacy operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. You will be required to perform repetitive tasks and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
