Position Overview

The Culinary Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of food preparation and service. This role ensures that all culinary activities are executed efficiently and meet established quality standards.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on their roles, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Maintain comprehensive records related to inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Certifications
  • Possession of a Safe Food Handling certificate is essential.
Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • This is a permanent position.
  • Work language: English.
  • Expected working hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
