About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Informatics Program Manager to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in the success of our clinical transformation initiative.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical informatics, healthcare standards, and project management. They will be responsible for overseeing the development of healthcare standards and workflows to support the implementation of clinical information systems.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. They will be able to facilitate consensus and decision-making across broad stakeholder groups and support the team to provide the same.

We are looking for a candidate who is organized, outcomes-driven, and able to ensure that teams and working groups are preparing work packages and decision documents for review by stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a strong ability to understand and support system-level impacts and decisions while narrowing focus to translate and communicate stakeholder impact effectively.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • An undergraduate degree in a health or technology-related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the implementation of evidence-based practice in a clinical setting
  • Demonstrated leadership in clinical and policy change
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to utilize current computer applications (Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Project Management and change management certification would be considered an asset
