Key Responsibilities:
- Assist users with a variety of IT-related issues
- Install and maintain hardware and software for the organization
- Physically relocate IT equipment as necessary
- Manage user accounts and permissions
- Monitor and troubleshoot IT systems
- Utilize trouble tickets to track and resolve issues
- Provide training to users within the organization
- Keep track of IT assets and equipment
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in providing direct support to end-users for the applications in use, including both phone and on-site assistance
- Some applications may necessitate certification from the software vendor
- Prior experience in teaching or training related to computer applications, particularly in database, imaging, or automated litigation support, is highly preferred
- Hands-on familiarity with the network, telecommunications, and operating systems relevant to the applications supported is essential
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in automated litigation support is advantageous
- Familiarity with DOJ office automation environments is extremely beneficial; proficiency in government word processing, spreadsheet, and email systems is required
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential
- Professional telephone etiquette is important; an undergraduate degree is valued
