About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Art School Manager to join our team at DSJ Dance Studio. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dance academy, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy and Procedure Development

Develop and implement policies and procedures for staff to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience for our students.

Budget and Inventory Management

Plan and control the budget and inventory for our dance studio, ensuring that we are operating within our means and making the most of our resources.

Contract Management

Manage contracts for advertising and marketing strategies, ensuring that we are getting the best value for our money and reaching our target audience.

Staff Supervision

Hire, train, and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their responsibilities and providing excellent service to our students.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that we are providing a positive experience for our students and their families.

Operations Management

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of our dance studio, ensuring that we are running smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements
  • Education

A college or CEGEP education is required for this role.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a similar role is required.

Work Setting

This role is based in a dance academy or school setting.

Security and Safety

A basic security clearance is required for this role.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Personal Suitability

We are looking for a candidate with excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
