A comprehensive understanding of environmental laws and compliance standards is essential. The Consultant will deliver insights in environmental science, engineering, and regulatory frameworks to evaluate and resolve environmental challenges for clients in a dynamic and competitive landscape. Emphasizing a client-focused methodology, the role involves building relationships, performing risk evaluations, ensuring adherence to regulations, and collaborating with colleagues for ongoing development and achievement. All tasks should align with FLINT's core principles and high ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer specialized knowledge on environmental science, engineering concepts, and compliance obligations
  • Execute environmental risk evaluations and formulate effective remediation strategies
  • Remain updated on pertinent environmental legislation and support in the permitting procedures
  • Work alongside teams to create cohesive solutions for environmental issues
  • Spot opportunities for innovation and process enhancement
  • Fulfill administrative responsibilities within designated timelines
  • Engage in additional projects and tasks as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental consultancy
  • Demonstrated success in overseeing intricate environmental initiatives
  • Thorough comprehension of environmental regulations
  • Exemplary leadership skills

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a professional assessment. This role is classified as safety-sensitive and will necessitate drug and alcohol screening.
