At The Grounds Guys, we're seeking a skilled Landscaping Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you'll be responsible for managing the field, ensuring quality control, and maintaining equipment. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to motivate your team will be essential in driving our success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the field, ensuring quality control and maintaining equipment
  • Structure routes, manage employee schedules, and keep crew members organized and on task
  • Provide support to team members, finding solutions to issues and ensuring they have the training they need
  • Ensure everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day

How We Measure Success:

  • Attendance: Set the example for the rest of the team
  • Budget vs Actual Hours: Keep jobs profitable by managing time planned and spent at each job
  • Return Rates: Ensure quality control to minimize the need for rework
  • Crew Retention: Foster a healthy team environment and keep people accountable to reduce turnover
  • Customer Retention: Build great relationships with customers and ensure exceptional service to keep them coming back
  • Full Utilization of Software & Processes: Make all the above possible

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in landscaping, lawn service, or similar industries
  • Knowledge of mowers, trimmers, tractors, and preventative maintenance
  • Ability to complete training and obtain required certifications and licenses within 6 months, if required
  • Clean driving history with experience driving a trailer

Benefits & Pay:

The pay range for this position is $26.50 to $30.00, dependent on experience as a lawncare or landscaping professional and in leading a team.
