Job Summary

JAWANDA LANDSCAPING LTD. is seeking a skilled Landscaping Foreman/Woman to lead our outdoor operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of landscapers and gardeners, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Organize Planting and Maintenance: Plan and coordinate the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, as well as schedule regular maintenance to keep our outdoor spaces looking their best.
  • Schedule Events and Programs: Coordinate events, programs, and activities that promote our company's brand and values.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement plans for maintaining our outdoor spaces, including scheduling work and managing labor and materials.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Create detailed plans and estimates for landscaping projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of landscape construction projects, ensuring they meet our high standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
