Techno Functional Consultant

Wipro Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Techno Functional Consultant - Oracle Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Oracle Cloud Solutions team, you will be responsible for providing functional solution expertise to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Oracle Cloud Module Expertise: Provide system operation support for Oracle PPM & Fixed Assets in Complex Asset Intensive Oil & Gas environment with demonstrated functional depth across Capital, OPEX, Growth and Mixed projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvements in the area of Project Accounting & Capital Assets through identifying areas and ideas for improvement and carrying out continuous system improvement initiatives.
- Business Partnership: Work effectively with business partners and System integrator & ensure quality assurance on key deliverables.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional team & other technology disciplines across integration, data, security, application and reporting.
- Incident Management: Manage daily operational incidents and break fix issues.
- Requirements Gathering: Review requirements and design specifications to ensure fit for purpose.
- Business SME Engagement: Engage Business SMEs to gather and derive business and systems requirements and translate them into functional - technical specifications.
- Process Improvement: Review cross-functional business processes, identify fit gaps and propose remediation, and assess interdependencies with integrations and cross module impacts.
- Problem Solving: Analyze and problem solve system issues in respective application portfolio to determine the best course of action.
- Documentation: Maintain business process documentation and identify areas for process improvement opportunities.
- Business Change Facilitation: Facilitate business change in support of solution design and implementation. Document systems and their interdependencies in the form of system specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance testing ensuring defined user requirements are met; translate business requirements and use cases into test plans and test scenarios.
- System Integration Testing: Assist the business in System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
- Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance to the business in the use of information and data from various source systems.
- Oracle Experience: Strong experience Implementing or Supporting Oracle modules such Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Financial Accounting Hub, Subledger Accounting and its integration to other Oracle ERP Modules.
- Domain Knowledge: Understanding of Project accounting and capital asset business process such Project Structures, Asset Creation & Maintenance, Unitization, Retirement, AFUDC, Depreciation, ARO, Mass Property, Lease Accounting etc.
- Operations Knowledge: Knowledge of relevant domain processes in Operations (Asset Information, Risk and Review and Lifecycle Development, operational excellence and managing an AMS - Application maintenance service partner).
- Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of accounting treatment of capital related items under Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory filings such as FERC and NEB.
- Process Understanding: Ability to interpret process flow charts to understand what data is captured and how it travels between various applications and hardware components.
- Communication Skills: Advanced communication skills demonstrated through previous experience in the following contexts: multi-disciplinary project meetings, technical reviews with developers and SMEs, leading group training sessions.
- Organizational Skills: Highly developed organizational skills to prioritize tasks and complete work within defined timeframes in a fast paced program environment.
