Overview

The Revenue Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in crafting revenue system solutions aligned with key initiatives across various business units within the organization. This position involves direct collaboration with revenue systems, including Point-of-Sale ("POS") and payment processing partners, ensuring that all systems are user-friendly and operational for both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Business Administrator for all revenue systems, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and optimizing performance.
  • Review policies related to POS and payment systems to maintain PCI compliance.
  • Conduct thorough internal audits on revenue systems.
  • Analyze and implement improvements to enhance revenue systems.
  • Exhibit expert knowledge of POS and payment processing systems.
  • Oversee the installation and configuration of revenue systems.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on POS and payment processing.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to develop efficient processing solutions.
  • Address business user inquiries and collaborate with IT for effective resolutions.
  • Identify and rectify existing issues within revenue systems.
  • Upgrade revenue systems to boost performance and efficiency.
  • Provide comprehensive plans for business upgrades.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across all revenue systems.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on revenue system functionalities.
  • Mediate technology-related challenges.
  • Enhance the functionality of the POS webstore.
  • Drive innovation in the development of revenue systems.
  • Conduct data analytics to support decision-making.
  • Assist the Revenue Control Supervisor team with POS operations.
  • Support the Revenue Control Supervisor team with payment device inventory management.
  • Act as an internal expert on PCI compliance.
  • Prepare PCI Compliance documentation in line with cybersecurity standards.
  • Assist in identifying and evaluating new revenue system technologies.
  • Support the IT department in analyzing security issues related to revenue systems.
  • Develop and test disaster recovery strategies for revenue systems.
  • Ensure PCI compliance across all revenue systems.
  • Research emerging trends and technologies in PCI compliance regulations.
  • Support Revenue Control Supervisor duties as required.
  • Assist the Inventory Control team with inventory counts as necessary.
  • Implement Standard Operating Procedures and manuals.
  • Adhere to company policies and departmental procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or relevant work experience.
  • At least five (5) years of experience as a Point of Sale system administrator and/or payment systems administrator.
  • Experience in retail loss prevention, finance, or information technology is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Windows, HTML, and software development methodologies.
  • Strong foundation in data analysis languages, including SQL and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is a plus.

Working Conditions

This role is primarily office-based, requiring light to moderate physical effort, including handling office equipment and supplies. The ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, manage conflicting demands, and navigate frequent interruptions is essential.
