Job Description

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Architect to join our team.

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a seasoned technology professional to lead the development and implementation of technical and security architectures.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with multiple platforms, operating systems, and database technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and recommend technical and security architectures for large-scale applications.
  • Lead the implementation of architectures and ensure compliance with standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based applications.
  • Ensure cloud security and personal data privacy.
  • Conduct technical assessments of logical and physical architectures.
  • Identify and implement robust tools and techniques for architecture development.

Requirements

  • Leadership experience in technical and security architecture development.
  • Extensive experience with multiple platforms, operating systems, and database technologies.
  • Knowledge of performance considerations in different environments.
  • Experience with middleware and gateways.
  • Experience with structured methodologies for application design and implementation.
  • Extensive experience in systems analysis and design in large systems environments.
  • Knowledge and experience designing processes around ITIL.
  • Experience translating business requirements into reporting needs.
  • Experience preparing conceptual, logical, and physical architectures.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies, trends, and directions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Content Management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
  • Architecture expertise and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with the following technology stack: Siebel CRM, Oracle Policy Automation, Oracle Identity Manager, Oracle Internet Directory, Business Intelligence Publisher, e-Business Suite, IBM BAW.
  • Experience in cloud computing and cloud technologies.
  • Proven experience with web application frameworks, Microservices architectures, Java frameworks, Angular Applications, Springboot, Spring security, Component-Based Web UI, Kubernetes.
  • Experience in designing cloud-based applications with an emphasis on cloud security and personal data privacy.
  • Experience with Authentication and Authorization, including OIDC, OAuth2, and SAML 2.0.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in conducting technical assessments of logical and physical architectures.
  • Knowledge and expertise with various architecture frameworks.
  • Extensive experience in systems analysis, integration, and implementation in large systems environments.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies, trends, and directions.
  • Experience with various patterns, architectural designs, domain models.
  • Identification and experience with different integration techniques, authentication tools.
  • Excellent management of assigned responsibilities, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
