About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Principal Scientist – Pharmacokinetics. As a key member of our pharmacokinetics team, you will be responsible for designing and executing PK data packages, predicting and verifying appropriate dosing regimens, and overseeing pharmacokinetics studies to support antibody design and assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute PK data packages tailored for individual programs
  • Predict and verify appropriate dosing regimens to demonstrate antibody PK/PD relationships across a range of drug targets and disease areas
  • Oversee pharmacokinetics studies to support antibody design and assessment
  • Collaborate with teams across the company to generate data and interpret results
  • Train and mentor more junior scientists
  • Evaluate new technology and test new models to better predict human illness
  • Report findings to our teams and partners to support data-driven decision making
Requirements
  • Proven track record of building PK datasets to support successful drug development programs
  • Expertise in designing PK studies and conducting PK/PD data analysis using WinNonlin or similar software
  • PhD in Biology, Pharmacology, or related discipline with 10+ years of industry experience; or MSc with 15+ years of related industry experience
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with ability to convey complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer

AbCellera offers a competitive salary range of CAD $141,600 - $177,000 annually, commensurate with education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we offer equity, annual bonus dependent on team and company performance, and a 6% RRSP contribution. You will also receive a CAD $1,500 annual Active Lifestyle Allowance, annual vacation, professional development opportunities, and comprehensive health benefits.
