Job Overview:

As a Counter Salesperson, you will be the first point of contact for customers entering our Business Centre. Your role is to provide exceptional service while ensuring that the products displayed at the counter are appealing and accessible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers at the counter with a friendly demeanor and assist them in locating their desired products.
  • Process customer transactions efficiently, including picking orders from the warehouse and delivering items to customers' vehicles when necessary.
  • Promote and suggest complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Handle incoming phone calls professionally, providing information and redirecting inquiries as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized counter area, ensuring items are restocked and displays are updated.
  • Support the Inside Sales team by taking calls and preparing orders as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and adaptability.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in English and/or French.
  • Demonstrated initiative in improving product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Good merchandising abilities and understanding of product applications.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills to identify growth opportunities.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office applications.
