Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Guru's Pizza Ltd. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high-quality food and service standards.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure timely ordering and inventory management.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, including sales, inventory, and staff productivity.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and walk.

Guru's Pizza Ltd. is a fast-paced food service establishment with a dynamic team environment. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be working in a kitchen and dining area with a team of food service staff, including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
