Merchandise Planner

Visique is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Bilingual Merchandise Planner (French/English) to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our product strategy and driving sales growth.
As a key member of the planning department, you will leverage your expertise to analyze market trends, forecast demand, and develop comprehensive merchandise plans that align with our business objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from managing open-to-buy budgets to optimizing promotional strategies.
Responsibilities:- Develop and manage Open-to-Buy plans, ensuring alignment with financial targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with product teams to create compelling assortment plans and contribute to seasonal strategy development.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for Product Attribute Contributions Percentages, optimizing product mix and profitability.
- Maintain accurate planning reports and manage the promotional product calendar, ensuring timely execution of marketing initiatives.
- Analyze and optimize promotional campaigns, maximizing gross margin and driving sales growth.
- Identify emerging sales trends and opportunities to enhance revenue streams.
- Generate comprehensive sales data for Wholesale channels and conduct ad-hoc analyses to support business decision-making.
- Forecast future demand based on historical data and market insights, contributing to accurate inventory management.
- Fluency in both French and English (written and verbal).
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in merchandise planning within the retail fashion industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
