Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Department Manager to join our Photo Lab team at London Drugs Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for assisting the Department Manager in directing staff to maintain merchandising, customer service, and operational standards within the lab and the photo counter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Department Manager in directing staff to maintain merchandising, customer service, and operational standards within the lab and the photo counter.
  • Provide quality service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner to customers.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Stay current with changes in photography technology and innovations in the industry through independent research, training materials, seminars, and awareness of competitive activity.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of business strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of management retail experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of photography and a commitment to staying current with changes in the industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
