Catering Supervisor Job Description

Venue 308 is seeking a skilled Catering Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our catering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Hire and train food service staff to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare and submit reports on catering operations and staff performance.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of our catering operations.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Food Safety Certificate and Responsible Beverage Service Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
