About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at LifeCare Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Process third-party insurance claims and maintain accurate records
    • Manage inventory of medications and prescription records
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Support to Pharmacists
    • Assist pharmacists with tasks such as compounding oral solutions, ointments, and creams
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or related field
  • Language
    • Fluent in English
  • Work Schedule
    • 30 to 40 hours per week
