Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Smith's Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities- Prescription Management: Ensure the accuracy of prescription information and maintain prescription records.
- Client Data Entry: Enter client information into our databases with precision and attention to detail.
- Support for Pharmacists: Provide assistance to our pharmacists as needed, ensuring they have the necessary resources to provide excellent patient care.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of medications, equipment, and supplies.
- Clerical Duties: Perform general clerical tasks, including ordering supplies and equipment, and organizing inventory.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide support and resources to newcomers and refugees, including foreign credential recognition and diversity training.
- Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to Indigenous workers, and provide cultural competency training to all employees.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience: Will train.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
