Pharmacy Assistant

Cedarbrae Pharmacy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of prescription information and providing support to our pharmacists.
Key Responsibilities- Prescription Accuracy: Verify and ensure the accuracy of prescription information, including medication names, dosages, and instructions.
- Pharmacist Support: Assist pharmacists with various tasks, such as preparing medications, maintaining inventory, and processing prescriptions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescriptions, medications, and inventory.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients and customers, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of medications and pharmaceutical products, ensuring that stock is always available and up-to-date.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or related setting.
- Work Setting: Pharmacy or drugstore environment.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team setting.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, organized, and a team player.
- Permanent Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week.
- English Language: Work language is English.
