Key Responsibilities:- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
- Ensure the maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and optimize productivity.
- Recruit, hire, and train staff to ensure adequate staffing levels and skills.
- Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain inventory levels.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize productivity and efficiency.
A-1 Cash and Carry is a fast-paced retail business with a warehouse and wholesaler operations. As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and heavy loads. You must be able to work effectively in a team environment and have excellent attention to detail.
Requirements:- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
