The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership qualities, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct all construction operations on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, building standards, and legal requirements.
  • Track project progress and liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, and engineers, to guarantee effective communication and timely task completion.
  • Formulate and execute construction timelines, manage financial resources, and allocate materials efficiently to achieve project objectives and deadlines.
  • Examine project plans, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and practicality, providing technical guidance and recommendations as necessary.
  • Conduct regular assessments to evaluate workmanship quality, compliance with specifications, and safety standards.
  • Identify and address construction challenges, including design modifications, unexpected hurdles, and scheduling conflicts, promptly and cost-effectively.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise site personnel, including contractors and construction workers, to ensure a competent and efficient workforce.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to identify and select subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure optimal value for the project.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a National Diploma in electrical or mechatronic engineering.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of renewable plant management or similar industrial operations.
  • Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • A valid Code B driver's license is mandatory.
