Position Overview:
Our Service department is actively seeking a qualified Sales Support Specialist for our Maple Ridge office, who is dedicated to achieving the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Generate quotations for deficiencies, system upgrades, and changes for clients with technical precision, adhering to company pricing policies.
- Process sales orders, ensuring all entries are completed efficiently and promptly.
- Foster and enhance relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Monitor customer accounts and credit limits.
- Verify that customer details align with purchase orders and provided quotes.
- Accurately enter orders in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse team to manage part orders, ensuring equipment is prepared for collection.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of life safety product features, including competitor technologies, relevant legislation, and regulations.
- Participate in trade shows, seminars, and meetings related to the marketing and sales of our products and services.
- Assist Sales Representatives in generating and managing leads, focusing on sales and designated customer accounts.
- Support Sales Representatives in expediting sales orders, projects, and inquiries.
- Perform general office administration tasks.
- Schedule on-site meetings for Sales Representatives.
- Provide customers with product and technical information.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role; experience in the fire alarm, security, or electrical sectors is advantageous.
- Post-secondary education.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), are beneficial.
- Exceptional organizational abilities.
- Capability to perform well under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
