Job Title: Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Reardon Construction & Development Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. They will also fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Working at heights, in dusty environments, and outdoors
  • Collaborating with other tradespeople and construction teams
Requirements:
  • Carpenter Trade Certification
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Hand tools
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a client-focused approach
