About the Role

GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pre-Board Screening Officer. As a key member of our airport security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the travelling public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen travellers and their belongings to prevent non-permitted items from entering the secure area
  • Control access to restricted areas and respond to alarms and incidents
  • Participate in emergency operations within the airport and report any events or violations

Requirements
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Have a clean criminal record and be eligible for a RAIC security clearance
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have strong English verbal and written skills
  • Be located near Iqaluit or willing to relocate before starting
