Job Summary

GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pre-Board Screening Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Aviation Services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the traveling public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen the traveling public and their belongings to prevent non-permitted items from entering the secure area.
  • Control access to restricted areas and respond to alarms and report any events, illegal acts, or violations.
  • Participate in emergency operations within the airport and work collaboratively with other security personnel to maintain a secure environment.
Requirements
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Have a clean criminal record and be eligible to obtain a RAIC (security clearance).
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be located near Iqaluit or willing to relocate before starting.
