Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide personalized care and support to our residents, assisting with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and using the bathroom.
  • Provide Mobility Support: Assist residents with walking, transferring, and using wheelchairs or stretchers.
  • Administer Medications: Assist with administering medications and maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare Meals and Snacks: Assist with serving meals and snacks, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Perform Light Housekeeping: Assist with maintaining a clean and safe living environment, including laundry and cleaning duties.
  • Provide Companionship: Engage with residents in activities, provide emotional support, and promote social interaction.
  • Monitor and Report Changes: Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), First Aid, CPR, Nursing Aide, Health Care Aide, and Personal Support Worker.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional care.
