Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Hotel Clerk to join our team at The Yorke Inn. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Customer Service: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • Payment and Billing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communication: Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls and provide general information about points of interest in the area.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
