Front Desk Hotel Representative

The Yorke Inn is seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Hotel Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Customer Service: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
- Payment and Billing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Communication: Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls and provide general information about points of interest in the area.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset, with a focus on customer service and front desk operations.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
