About the Role

Flynn Canada Ltd. is seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass and mirror products in various commercial and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Repair: Install glass and mirror products, including doors, windows, and other hardware, in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Measurement and Cutting: Measure and cut glass to fit specific requirements, using computerized cutters and manual techniques.
  • Work at Heights: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to install and repair glass and mirror products.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate man-lift mobile equipment, cranes, and other lifting equipment to install and repair glass and mirror products.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and repair of glass and mirror products.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in glass installation and repair is required.
  • Physical Demands: This role is physically demanding and requires handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Weight Handling: The ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is required.
