Job Title: Registered Nurse-PT(.7)-Cardiology

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology team on a part-time (.7) basis. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to complex patient populations in the Cardiology department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions, including cardiovascular disease.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify abnormal patient responses, and take appropriate action.
  • Manage multiple nursing interventions simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current certification in BCLS.
  • Recent knowledge in Cardiovascular Nursing, including experience in the care of complex patient populations.
  • Ability to use the Nursing Process and basic and ongoing knowledge to arrive at individualized care planning and delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification or recent continuing education in Cardiovascular Nursing.
  • Recent Cardioversion experience.
