Position Overview

MCM-D'Lusso Construction is seeking a dedicated Tile Installation Specialist to join our skilled team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities centered around the installation and maintenance of tiles in residential and commercial settings.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in tile setting
Key Responsibilities
  • Install tiles accurately and apply pressure to secure them to the substrate.
  • Ensure tiles are aligned and straightened properly.
  • Prepare estimates and quotes for tile installation projects.
  • Utilize hand and power cutting tools to cut and fit tiles around obstacles.
  • Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices in the trade.
  • Fill grout into joints between tiles and remove any excess material.
  • Replace cracked or damaged tiles as necessary.
  • Oversee the work of other team members to ensure quality standards are met.
Work Environment
  • Physically demanding tasks requiring the handling of heavy materials.
  • Frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Ability to distinguish colors and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination is essential.
