Job Title: Bilingual Commissions Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bilingual Commissions Administrator to join our team at Foresters Financial. As a Bilingual Commissions Administrator, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving insurance adviser telephone and email commission enquiries, processing account activities, and ensuring timely payment of commissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process weekly and monthly commission runs and reports
  • Perform compensation adjustments based on policy changes
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of commissions
  • Investigate and resolve commission-related issues and discrepancies
  • Provide commission information to internal and external contacts
  • Input data accurately into the system
  • Track information and assist with debt collection processes
  • Handle commission debt repayments from agents and agencies
  • Respond to and resolve daily telephone and email inquiries related to compensation issues

Requirements:

  • College diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent field experience is an asset
  • 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry
  • Fluently bilingual in both French and English (written and verbal)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Accounting and bookkeeping background would be an asset

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working within the hours of Insurance Operations (8:00am – 8:00 pm). The successful candidate must be willing to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends during peak periods as required to meet SLA's.
