About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Assembly Supervisor to join our team at Jastram Engineering Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly of electronic components and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Provide guidance and training to electronics assemblers, fabricators, inspectors, and testers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to identify and address any issues with assemblies, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Work Prioritization and Coordination: Establish work priorities, assign tasks, and review progress to ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
  • Staff Management: Recommend personnel actions, participate in staff meetings, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
  • Health and Safety: Oversee the safety of operations, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electronics assembly or a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced production environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
