Position Overview

Join our team at Travis Cairns Desjardins Insurance as an Insurance Sales Agent. This role is essential in providing clients with comprehensive insurance solutions tailored to their needs.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment
  • Engage in a professional setting within an insurance company.
  • Experience the dynamic atmosphere of the finance and insurance sector.
  • Work primarily in an urban area.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee insurance claims and address client inquiries effectively.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Inform clients about various group and individual insurance packages, including risk coverage, benefits, and policy features.
  • Market and sell a variety of insurance products, including automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, and aircraft insurance.
Licensing and Certifications
  • Possession of a provincial or territorial insurance license is necessary.
  • Completion of the Life Licence Qualification Program (LLQP) is required.
Work Conditions
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Primarily sedentary work.
