Key Responsibilities

Interpret and analyze blueprints to ascertain dimensions, tolerances, and work layout Understand and apply the imperial measurement system Select appropriate welding equipment and techniques based on project specifications Align components using tools such as straightedges and combination squares Execute welds on components and assemblies using various welding equipment Ensure that equipment is maintained in a safe and operational condition

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years of welding experience Proficient in the use of oxy/fuel cutting tools and electric welding machines Familiarity with GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW welding processes Experience with welding equipment and procedures Competence in using both electrical and manual tools Commitment to safe work practices and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Strong attention to detail with the ability to anticipate workflow challenges Adaptability and patience in managing multiple tasks effectively
