The Restaurant Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dining establishment. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing effective methods to meet work schedules and optimize staff performance.
- Ordering food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels.
- Overseeing and coordinating the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
- Providing training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation standards, and safety protocols.
- Ensuring that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Preparing budget forecasts and cost estimates for operational efficiency.
- Addressing and resolving customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Compiling and submitting reports as required.
- Supervising the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely service.
- Establishing work schedules to optimize staff productivity.
Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.
Work Environment:This position is based in a restaurant setting, providing a dynamic and fast-paced work atmosphere.
