About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada in Halifax.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and operations, to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of software applications.
  • Analyze and report on quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members on quality assurance best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on software testing and quality engineering.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and quality assurance principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex quality-related issues.
