About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team at SOP Logistics Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of goods and ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Delivery Drivers
    • Manage a team of 3-4 delivery drivers and ensure they have the necessary resources to complete their tasks
    • Coordinate schedules and routes to optimize delivery efficiency
  • Dispatch and Track Deliveries
    • Dispatch delivery drivers and track the status of shipments in real-time
    • Communicate with customers and drivers to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Monitor and Improve Operations
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Train and Develop Team Members
    • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to delivery drivers and other team members
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve skills and knowledge
  • Ensure Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all team members follow health and safety protocols and procedures
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks
  • Coordinate Repairs and Rentals
    • Coordinate repairs and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment
    • Arrange for rentals or purchases of new equipment as needed
  • Requisition and Order Supplies
    • Requisition and order supplies and materials as needed
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure that stock is maintained at optimal levels
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Experience
      • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a logistics or transportation role
    • Skills
      • Excellent communication and organizational skills
      • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
      • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
      • Ability to train and develop team members
    • Language
      • English
    • Work Hours
      • 30 hours per week
