Job Summary:

You are a dedicated Sales Professional looking to work in a dynamic technical sales environment. As a skilled professional, you possess a solid understanding of the consultant sales process and are willing to travel 3-5 days per month. Previous experience in capital equipment sales, coupled with strong communication and excellent computer skills, are a must. You will provide clients with automation-related equipment specifications and pricing, acting in an assigned territory. You will generate sales proposals of all levels in a timely manner, in response to internal or external requests. Produce revisions to sales proposals as required for pending sales or in response to amendments necessary to complete a pending sale. Your previous experience in penetrating new markets is a direct result of your self-start approach to selling and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop sales proposals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and effective resolution of client inquiries and concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, leveraging this knowledge to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience or a strong documented history of industrial automation sales experience.
  • Exceptional verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
