Dairy Frozen Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Dairy Frozen Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Dairy Frozen Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with the sale of goods.
Key Responsibilities- Zones the department to ensure a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate shopping experience.
- Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain a fresh and high-quality product offering.
- Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and maintain accuracy.
- Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to ensure a safe and healthy shopping environment.
- Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels to maintain accurate inventory and pricing.
- Maintains features and keeps the area neat, clean, and organized to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
