**SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS**:
Reporting to the maintenance manager, the maintenance line set-up is responsible for the day-to-day effectiveness of production equipment and facility services.

**TASKS**:

- Conduct regular inspections of departmental equipment.
- Ensure all equipment required for production is in proper condition.
- Disassemble all production equipment for cleaning purposes.
- Reassemble all production equipment for operating.
- Complete all required paperwork for the QA/QC HACCP program, accurately.
- Clean shop and keep production equipment organized in storage when not in use.
- Ensure production, boxing, and the kitchen are free of equipment which is not in use.
- Bring to the attention of the lead hand any conditions which may be a concern for health safety and/or food safety.
- Troubleshoot and fine tune the operation of all production equipment.
- Combine multiple pieces of equipment to work in unison forming a complete production line.
- Must be capable of working flexible and sometimes extended hours.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**Knowledge**:
Strong problem -solving skills and ability to communicate. Capable of reading and interpreting all electrical/mechanical drawing and schematics. Up to date with the codes, legislation and regulations.

**Manual Dexterity**

General use of computer. Capable of using all associated tools as required.

Manual dexterity also required when operating any machinery, lifting devices, etc.
