Our partnerships include many of North America's leading retailers. This role will report directly to the Sanitation Manager at Inovata Foods.

Inovata Foods Corp. is seeking a part-time Sanitation Associate to collaborate with us in delivering wholesome and convenient meal options. The position is based in our facility in Tillsonburg, Ontario, where we are a significant producer of nutritious private label frozen meals for numerous major retailers across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the supervisor in overseeing the following tasks:
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of production, boxing, and warehouse areas.
  • Adhere to established Cleaning Protocols to ensure proper sanitation of equipment.
  • Assist in keeping the lunchroom, restrooms, and locker areas clean.
  • Ensure the correct use of all sanitation equipment.
  • Comply with all company food safety protocols, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), to ensure the highest quality products for our customers.
  • Actively contribute to a safe and clean working environment for all employees at Inovata Foods.
  • Report any sanitation-related damage to equipment.
  • Accurately complete all documentation related to HACCP and SQF programs for the equipment cleaned.
  • Foster good employee relations through effective communication.
  • Collaborate with fellow sanitation staff in daily tasks, utilizing available resources to enhance teamwork within the department.
  • Work alongside the Sanitation Supervisor to ensure the Environmental program is executed as specified, following up on results with the Quality Specialist as necessary.
  • Conduct post-sanitation inspections to confirm equipment cleanliness before production begins.
  • Perform additional related duties as needed.

Shift:

  • Afternoon shift (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm)

Qualifications:

  • Experience in product development, restaurant, or food science fields is preferred.

Work Environment:
