Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

Coronation Cleaning Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee the daily activities of our cleaning team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Recommend and arrange for additional services as needed, such as painting, repairs, or equipment replacement.
  • Process payments for specialized cleaning jobs and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Assist cleaning staff with their duties as needed and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure optimal productivity.
Supervision:
  • Light duty cleaners
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks related to cleaning and maintenance
Working Conditions:
  • 30 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language required
