About the Role
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within our transportation network. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates and resolving inquiries related to their shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, addressing routine reporting requirements and providing status updates on their shipments.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting, recordkeeping, and retention policies to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
- Monitor the progress of transportation routes and provide timely information to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with third-party resources to facilitate efficient logistics operations.
- Escalate non-routine customer inquiries to appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Manage the allocation and distribution of equipment as needed to support transportation activities.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including mail distribution, filing, reporting, invoice reconciliation, and data entry.
- Contribute to a safe and secure work environment by adhering to company guidelines and expectations.
