This position involves working at various locations, adapting to different settings and conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles, shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs.
- Utilize waterproof sheet materials to install single-ply roofing systems, including modified plastics and elastomeric compositions.
- Conduct repairs or replacements of shingles and shakes on sloped roofs.
- Perform maintenance on single-ply roofing systems and other roofing structures.
- Apply waterproof coatings to both concrete and masonry surfaces, ensuring durability and protection.
- Install and repair metal roofing using both hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling required.
- Capable of handling heavy loads, exceeding 45 kg (100 lbs).
- Willingness to work overtime and perform repetitive tasks.
